Re: nursing lying down??

When we first started side laying and nursing, my daughter was six months. She was around 20 pounds and 27 inches then, so kinda big then lol. But I pushed a blanket behind her back to keep her tucked against me tightly. I had a pillow under my head and a blanket or pillow behind my back to keep me from flopping onto my back. I'm small chested, size A, so maybe that made it harder for me to do so until my daughter was bigger and could meet my nipple with her mouth from a side laying position? It's a huge possibility because I remember difficulty with that in the beginning. She is still a night nurser at almost 18 months so I side lay nurse her nightly. Kinda tiring, but I figure she'll get enough eventually. lol
