fenugreek question

Is it ok to take fenugreek ocassionally on the day or day before I need to pump? Or is that going to adversely mess with my supply?

Re: fenugreek question

i say try it and see how it works for you. i'm not sure what you mean by mess up though. some days my lo eats more than others and that will increase/decrease my supply, so i figure fen. and pumping wouldn't be too different. i drink the more milk tea a few days and then not for a few days. same with pumping and it works for me. hth

Re: fenugreek question

This is my first post but I took fenugreek for two of my kids. Fenugreek will help increase your supply but not overnight. It is a gradual thing. Plus you will smell like maple syrup. My husband said smelled like pancakes. Anyways, your production will be based mainly on a supply and demand method. It will increase and decrease as needed. I wasn't making anything and the fenugreek worked wonders. Though once you up your production it takes time to adjust either way, up or down (volume wise) HTH~~mindy
