still hard at 11 weeks

Hi all,
i hope someone has some words of wisdom. My Lo is still having trouble at 11 weeks. Has a hard time latching. Usually can't get on well at all. if I move he is off. He also pushes my nipple in and out as he sucks and only actually gets milk during a let down. We have been to lots of LC and no luck yet. Anyone have any suggestions?

does he take a paci? i had a friend who had similar trbls and they had her hold her dd's paci in her mouth... idk - didn't make much sense to me... but it got her sucking good......

Is your babe tongue tied? Its when the tounge is attached all the way to the tip or close to the tip? Its common, my LO had it and we had to have it clipped and he has been nursing strong for over a year now!! Check it out you will be able to tell!!

I should have mentioned he had a posterior tongue tie that we did have clipped at 7 weeks

I will try the paci things. I have not given him one yet

I am dealing with this very issue right now except that my guy wont/can't latch on at all He was tongue tied and was clipped before we came home from the hospital but still can't stretch his tongue out enough to latch on.

We have an appointment with an ENT to find out what we can do to help him. Something like this can effect thier speech down the road too.
