Hey, I noticed your username...are you a member of...um...that other website/forum? I think you helped me out with shipping questions.

As for the question, my DS will be 3 in July and is still not potty trained, not because I don't think he could handle it, but because it seems like a lot of work that I am not yet ready to tackle ! I think if she is scared of it, I wouldn't force her, but maybe offer the potty to her in the morning and evening so she thinks she has a choice, and if she takes it, great, if she doesn't, I wouldn't push it for now, but let her get used to the idea. Just my $0.02 but obviously I have been pretty lacks on training my own kid!

I'm trying to work w/ my DS and he did the same thing...I went out and bought some fruit snacks, and he gets (1) fruit snack for sitting on the potty, regarless of the outcome...and it worked for us! ....now if I just could get him to pee there...lol.

Re: What would you do?

i don't think i'd be willing to force something she's scared of. maybe just bring her into the bathroom when you use the potty and offer her to sit on the potty like mommy.
my ds was also afraid of the potty for a while (still is afraid of the big one). we started using a "peepee cup" but of course that's doable with a boy, not so with a girl.
i think i'd just try to gently teach her that it's not scary.
