My son will be 2 on May 30th...I just can't believe it! I didn't get to breastfeed him until he was 9 days old due to being very ill in the NICU....well here we are nearly two years later and still going strong! He has never had a drop of formula and I have to say that I am pretty proud of that.

First time nursing at 9 days old.

1 year old.

23 months old.

Cute pics!! Ds is going to turning one on Saturday and I'm just thinking the same thing, " Its already been a year!!!". BTW your ds has beautiful eyes.

Amen. Toddlers do need their mama's milk just as much as newborns. I'm nursing my 17 month old still. Sadly, I don't have any newborn nursing pics.

Thank you all for letting me share. Breastfeeding is such a beautiful experience...I feel very blessed. I don't have any pictures of nursing my DD and since she was 12 weeks early I ended up exclusively pumping since she never got the hang of it. I am so thankful that it turned out differently with my DS.

Katherine....I agree that we need to have another GTG around here!!
