Diaper Swappers

Without going into my sons behavior too much, we had a tiny little breakthrough today!

We were doing a bit of 'play therapy' at home

At least, that's what I'd call it

It started off as...I threw these balls with suction cups all over onto a window (which is low to the ground, so in this situation, completely accessible as far as reaching the balls)...He looked at the ball on the window, and just started freaking out, yelling, stomping his feet. Anyway, long story short...I got him to actually go TO the window and pull at the ball to get it off the window...woohoo!! He doesn't do it every time...and he doesn't always succeed the first time - which results in a yelling/stomping fit...BUT..he's at LEAST walking up TO the window and TRYING (70% of the time)! Woohoo!

Yay for Drake.

LOL...sorry for posting about something so goofy - but it's a big thing for him!

It's not goofy at all! Mama's are supposed to be all proud of milestones!

That is great, any little thing can be so exciting. I remember posting about the first time my daughter followed directions. It is very exciting to see them master a skill, no matter how tiny or insignifigant it may seem, it is big news to a mamma!!!
