wow mama, where can you do it then? We co sleep with our DD, but she sleeps part time in her crib. I put her to bed by rocking her to sleep in her room/crib at night, and then she wakes up at anywhere from 10 -2am and sleeps with us.
My husbands always saying during the day on the weekends, " lets put her in her pack and play for a few min.", That horney man LOL

Any time the Aunt is away...

I know when DH and I were alone in the house when living with family we'd get busy provided DD was asleep.

To this day we still have quickies on the couch just cause. LOL

That's the problem, there isn't any place BUT our room.

I never thought about the shower, we might be able to pull that one off.

I thought about the floor too, that is what we will try next.

She won't sleep ANYWHERE except our bed, which is honestly the reason we co-sleep now. Her crib is right up next to our bed, same height and everything and as soon as her little body touches the crib mattress she wakes up.

So at what age would it start to traumatize her? She woke up the other day and I didn't realize it right away so when I looked at her she was looking at us. I felt TERRIBLE

Re: Co-sleeping mamas...?

Oh well let me add onto the living arrangement situation...

Originally it was a nice quiet place, DH, me and my aunt (she is our roomate). Then my cousin decided to move in, then my DD was born, then my mom got sick and my dad and her moved in so we could help with my mom. So my mom and dad have made our living room into their bedroom. We have a den that is used for the computer room, my aunt has a bedroom and my cousin has a bedroom.

And people wonder why I am

I really like shower time too The couch, living room and even the kitchen! Just get spontaneous :P However if you share a house with someone I would suggest the shower. Surely that would give you a private place to go to

Re: Co-sleeping mamas...?

definitlly in the shower, after all you want to save water right? also i wouldn't worry about a 7 mth old seeing something. we did it in our bed or on the floor w/ dd sleeping in the bed till she was 3. i don't even think they'd notice until sometime after age 1. gl

Re: Co-sleeping mama...?

Shower, Bedroom Floor, Bathroom, etc.

We have Co-Slept since day one and always find a way to DTD.

We almost always DTD on the bedroom floor (with our "bed" which is stored under our real bed )

I really never understood how people cant DTD when Co-Sleeping?

Before my DH deployed some of my family moved in with us so we have only our room and bathroom to DTD, no probs
