Re: why is 6yr old so annoyed by my babies crying
I have 4 kids, ages 8,7,3, and 19 months (pg w/ a 5th). We have 900sq feet and 3 bedrooms. My oldest has mild autism.
The school won't (usually) help you unless he is having the same issues at school AND they are having an educational impact. I am NOT NOT NOT saying or hinting that your son has autism when I suggest this next thing. Kids with autism almost always have sensory issues. I would check YahooGroups for a local autism support group or the ASA (autism society of america) and ask them where to get a sensory evaluation in your area. Again- NOT saying it is autism or anywhere on the spectrum. ONLY saying those mommas will be able to help you find a talented person to help you correctly identify and (most importantly) COPE with any sensory disorder your son may be challenged by. ((hugs momma)) and listen to your gut.
