Re: Well I did it RE: Caster oil

Have you and DH tried doing the deed? I swear that is what put me in labor with my last, and I was no where near as favorable as you are.
Good luck mama!

Re: Well I did it RE: Caster oil

I hope you're in labor by now!! The castor oil, while it didn't give me ANY contractions, didn't show any "signs" of "working" (if ya KWIM) for about 3-4 hours afterwards.

Still here but having contractions-however I never did have any icky effects with the co, just crampiness and gassy-not one b. movement though! I haven't started timing the contractions yet because I don't want to get my hopes up yet but I think they're around 10 minutes apart-my 21 month dd is also getting very sick-she's got a fever and throwing up- wouldn't that be great timing, finally go into labor and have a sick kid My dh is going to take Monday off of work to help out with the kids and hopefully we'll end up in the hospital sara

I just googled castor oil labor and went from there, my sister also took it with my neice and it worked for her so that's why I decided to go ahead with it. I had talked to a nurse at my dr.'s office about it and she said they don't recommend it just because you can get really icky/sick with the bm's but for some reason I haven't had that at all sara

Re: Well I did it RE: Caster oil

Well, no luck with castor oil I have a dr. appointment on Wednsday so I'll see how far I've progressed-hopefully he'll make his appearance within the next couple of days, I'm so tired of waiting for him I'm fighting a twinge of jealousy also-my neighbor had her scheduled c-section this morning and now has her little girl, I'm really happy for her but sad that I don't have my little guy yet We're going to visit them at the hospital tomorrow night and she's at the same hospital I'll be going to so it will be a bit depressing-blaah!
