He is so cute and reminds me of ds2 w/ all the baby fat DS2 was 9lbs at 38wks and I thought he was huge! I love the picture of his proud new brother and Congratulations on your new bundle! you'll have to give a spill on how the cd's are working for his size.

Congrats!!! He is beautiful! I had a horrible birth experience with my 2nd child too which swayed me to have a home birth with #3. In the end though, you get to relish your precious baby either way!! So happy for you!

9 lbs at 37 weeks, good thing he came when he did. Sorry it wasn't the ideal birth for you, but at least you're all home safe and sound now. Gage looks like a wonderful big bro!

Thanks everyone! Egan is doing well and I am truly happy to be home! I was looking at 3/4 more days in the hospital, but luckily that didn't happen. I am also glad that I didn't have to do another blood transfusion after the birth. {I had to before}. I feel better recovering at home with my family and will be so happy when all of this swelling goes down.

Gage is such an adorable, sweet big brother! We are so proud at how he is handling everything. He was having a hard time with the 4 day hospital stay with being away from Mommy & Daddy, as was I, but atleast it wasn't extended.

Breastfeeding isn't going exactly like I had hoped, but we have a hospital grade pump {Symphony} that I have been using to pump. Egan seems to love Mommy's milk, so hopefully when I make enough supply he will more easily bf.

I haven't cd'ed yet as I just wasn't up to it healthwise. We also ordered way too many newborn dipes... and now waiting on smalls. I took the covers and prefolds to the hospital but we didn't use them as Egan was taken away for a day. {I guess that didn't help the bfing either}. Things are going better now and I have some smalls that we are going to try. We used cloth wipes in the hospital and I was glad to see that they did also! I was really surprised.

The birth experience was horrid, but atleast we have a very healthy little boy! He is such a good baby. We worried at first because he didn't cry. He does now sometimes, but it takes a lot to make him do it. He loves being held. He loves it when Gage loves on him and lays beside him. Gage thinks the world of his little brother! It really is too cute! We are very blessed!
