Dylon dye. Follow directions and you can do them in the washer. ipfs will come out like asherberty type color. Softer and not so vibrant, but very nice.

I use protein reactive dyes, like you use for tye dye, and it comes out nice.

I have been wondering this too. Does it mattered if the PFs are bleached or not???

Re: So... how do I dye ipfs?

i use Dylon Dyes (walmar $2 per pack) and it works GREAT! the colors are super super bright but they look good

with each pack i can do about 3/4 PFs any thing more and the colors are more pastelly....very muted!

if you do bleached PFs the colors are brigther then the unbleached.

also i do them in my kitchen sink

Re: So... how do I dye ipfs?

nope its super easy to do......

~fill a measuring cup with 4 cups warm water and dissolve dye in that
~fill one side of sink with enough warm water so that your PFs have enough room and add 2tbsp of salt
~add dye and mix
~wet PFs then add to dye
~agiate (by hand-make sure you wear GLOVES)for 15min then soak for 45 min agiating every so often!
