I'm really bad about only checking pms and not the actual thread for responses. A few times I have sold something to a mama who sent a pm and then I would go to edit my post and see that someone was interested.

I think if you know you forget to check the thread you (general you... everyone who does this) should put that in the FSOT post. Something like "Please PM with interest, don't post" so people don't post and not PM. Some people add
something to this effect to their FSOT posts and I think it helps a lot.

As for people not responding to a PM at all and then selling it to someone else... I really think that sucks. It makes me wish we could leave feedback for non-transactions.
