I strip my diapers using Dawn and Verrryy Hot water and they are so very fersh....But it seems like I get the "stink" again within a week. I rinse them thourghly several times when I change the diaper then I ring them out and put them in a dry bucket which I also put a few drops of TTO as needed....I wash my diapers everyday or every other day.
I wash them with 1/3 the detergent and I use Purex free and clear which I researched and is recomended for cloth diapers and a few more drops of TTO...But is it common to have to strip so often? Is it ok for my pockets..FB, fleece and windpro? When I first started I used baking soda and vinegar but it the baking soda made my water too soft and The Stink Problem was soo bad I was seriously considering sposies for overnight. Advice Please!! Thanks Mamas!!

Re: Need Advice on Stripping Diapers
There was someone on another site I go to that was complaining of stink and build up using the Purex free and clear. Maybe you should try another detergent. Charlies Soap. SUN. Sportwash. Just a thought.

Re: Need Advice on Stripping Diapers
If I don't use sportwash, I only use a couple tablespoons of detergent. Just run them on hot until all of the suds are gone. Good luck!
