She's on the "name trip" right now.

Here's some of the possibles

Miakoda - Native American "Power of the moon"
Maka - Native American "Earth"

and Middle names

Ela - Apache also meaning "Earth"
Nova - Native American "Chases Butterflies"

Kind of up in the air because my grandmother's name was Eleanor, so we wanted Ela because it would have dual meaning, (Earth, and tribute to great grandma who helped raise me and is now gone). Two things I love! BUT.. Nova sounds better with Miakoda (mom's pick) and it means "Chases butterflies" what a GREAT way to envision your little girl!

I'm not Native American (mama is) but I wanted a special name that has a connection to mama, nature, is adorable, and unique.

So, it might end up being Miakoda Nova, or Mia-nova... OR Miakoda Ela, or Mia-ela. which is kind of a mouthful.
