This hanging pail thing is just NOT working . . .
So tell me what other choices I have. I want to stay dry pail as the idea of a wet pail
I have a swaddelbees bag right now, that never works hanging and an MOE hanging pail that works for 1 day. Since I usualy don't wash every day its getting to be a pain. Tell me what else I can do? I have a small space in my laundry room so it can't be huge.

Re: This hanging pail thing is just NOT working . . .
I use a kitchen trash can right now, so I'm probably not much help here.
I quit using the MOE as a hanging pail since it kept falling off the doorknob when it got too full (after about a day! LOL!) Now I use it as a liner. I have heard good things about Happy Tushies hanging pails, and I think I'm gonna try one. They have a zippered closure and the hanging strap for them should keep them on the doorknob! |

I just have a small diaper pail, by Safety First and a WAHM pail liner. It doesn't take up much space at all

Re: This hanging pail thing is just NOT working . . .
I just graduated from my hanging pails. They were getting too full and I was tired of them hanging around so big.
I bought a trash can from Target (13 gallon) with a flip top lid and bought two SNAP-EZ pail liners. They work beautifully. I use my old hanging pails for the pockets and the pail / trash can for the heavy inserts. It's working out great. The SEZ liners are really great. The elastic is sewn in rather than inserted through a casing, so it works better, there is a snap strap for carrying to the laundry room and I also use it to hang from a hanger to dry the bag on wash day. Could't be happier with everything I got, and no smell at all. I bought one of those carbon trash can discs and have it in the top of my pail.

I actually use the hanging pail inside of my diaper champ. Works great. I also bought another MOE pail but larger and switch between the two. The diaper champ has perfet little handles inside that hold the pail so it doesn't peek out at all!

Re: This hanging pail thing is just NOT working . . .
I use a 13 gal kitchen trash can w/ a step/flip top lid and a wetbag liner. We had one that could hang, but it was stinky, and it always fell off when it was full. The cool thing about using a wetbag in a trashcan, is that the smell gets "sealed" out when the lid closes on the PUL. Beware when you toss one in when it is getting full though. WHEW! It'll knock you out!
But really, we LOVE it.

I use a flip-top diaper pail by Safety First (got it at Walmart, I think). I actually have two - one with a thick canvas liner and one with a nylon mesh liner. I use the canvas one for pf's and inserts, and I use the mesh one for covers and my FB's.
I keep them both in the bathroom outside DS's room. |

Re: This hanging pail thing is just NOT working . . .
LOL, I have those exact two wetbags with the intentions of using them as hanging pails, and they suck for that purpose! Always ended up on the floor
![]() And you're right the MOE one is way too small! I think if you could get a hanging pail with a fabric handle and no elasticy bit relying on hanging it that would be okay. I just gave up on the whole hanging pail thing and ended up getting one of the 10 gallon trashcans, and I use the SB one or my Wahmies one as liners for it

I have a diaper champ, but I also have a big wetbag from www.sewnappydiapers.com which is really great. I use that one in the bathroom for the poopy dipes.

I second the Snap-ez wet bag..I have the large one and love it! It is inside a 13 gallon trash can with a flip-top lid from Target. It holds 2-3 days worth.
