where to buy spices in bulk -- spam welcome

I want to make gifts in a jar for Christmas this year. If I buy the spices at the supermarket it gets expensive really fast. Does anyone know where to get high quality in not too big quantities for a good price?

do you have a costco or sams club?

also we have winco here and the spices are cheaper if you fill your own spices in a bag they provide

Our local health food store sells it in bulk...it's a ton cheaper than the grocery store.

Also, what about Frontier? There are some co-ops on the Pin...maybe someone would want to do one here...

I would run a Frontier coop but don't have nearly enough posts.

I operate a coop locally that can get a wide variety of spices, most of which come in 1 lb. bulk packages. I'd be happy to check prices on anything that you are looking for and you can see how they compare to what you have already found. Just lmk....I'll be ordering again September 25th and my truck comes October 10th.

You may want to see if there is a Natural Foods Buying Club in your area. Not sure where you live?
Basically, it's like a Natural Foods Coop but no storefront. To find out if there is one in your area, go to your local Natural Foods Coop or ask around at vegetarian/natural foods establishments.
Orders are usually placed 1 x month. There's usually a fee to join. I'm in one where I live and have been in them in the other cities I've lived too for last 10years. They all were run a little differently but same concept of buying together to save $. I've found them to be great! Good luck!
