vbsn sizing

Do the very baby simply nights run true to size? I just bought a bunch of them in medium longs and now I'm wondering if I should have gotten larges instead?
Thanks, Jackie

Re: vbsn sizing

IME they run true to size except for rise. With rise they tend to be a little smaller due to all of the layers. JFYI this is only true for the VBSN, all other VB diapers run completely true to size.

Re: vbsn sizing

I think I am the only one that they do not run true to size for. My boys are about 28 pounds so larges should fit them great but they are big in the legs. They are also a little big in the rise but doable. I don't know but my boys never fit the recommended sizes though.

It's the rise I'm worried about...I hope they fit him well enought to get some use out of them. I've resorted to sposies at night because he's soaking through everything at night, or waking up early because he's super wet and gets cold.

Don't know if this helps or not but I have my 11 month old in medium VBSN, and I bought a m/l and kind of like it better because of the rise and know she will be wearing it a very long time. She is thin but will probably never wear a large because I have it on the tightest setting on the snaps. The other is applix and because the dipe is lower, I don't have to tighten it as tight as the M/L, she is maybe 22 lbs?

I've found the rise to be a touch shorter than other M/L yes but no enough that it makes a difference.

Re: vbsn sizing

we have a regullar vb size ml, and it fits on the second snaps, all is stretch fabric. then we have a large vbsn (i went with recomendation and the one i wanted most in the stocking LOL) and it fits him about the same way, id say for the rise, the waist is definitely bigger! . i dont think it makes the rise much shorter at all, since i have the 2 to compare, but i may be weird, LOL!!

I've found that the front-closure ones made of hemp run small.

oh i didnt think of that lol. ours are side snap. and i thought of something else...
the crotch is a little thicker making you need a little bigger rise cover but how high it comes on HIM isnt a lot of difference to what the sizing should be, like nothing noticeable to me, only the crotch, but maybe thats me? i dunno lol
