I luhve boo bie!

That's how baby sounded when she shouted that to me the other night! It was the first time our 16 month old said she loves and it was boobie . Her sister calls it that, she was calling it boo-boo or ninny. Guess she really just needed to find something important enough to her to exclaim her love!
She walks around now chanting 'I love boo-bie! I love boo-bie!'. Oh my goodness, if she does that at the store I think I will die !

I know dd will say something like that when she starts talking. I was trying to hard to call it something else like "num-nums" but dh keeps calling it "boob", as in "oh, you're fussy, you must want the boob." He even goes as far as to then say to me, "come here, Boobs, the baby wants you."

My little girl got to the point of wailing, "Boobie please!" Of course everyone but me thought it was hilarious

Re: I luhve boo bie!

Oh so sweet. make sure you get it on video! It'll be so sweet to watch later when she's no such a baby anymore. My dd is 16mo too and her fav thing to say is "Momeeeee, I want Nurrrrr~nurrrrr!" in a sing song voice. I love it!

The other day we were out at a HSing Archary class and I was holding DD and talking to another mom. DD begins sliding her hands down the neck of my shirt and grabing my boobs (before I could stop her) and sing songy saying "Mommeeee, I want nurrrr~ nurrrs." The lady was like "What does she want?" I did proudly tell her, but I don't think she was impressed. She walked away shortly after I was "exposed." LOL!

I'm reading Mothering Your Nursing Toddler right now and it is helping me with my DD's Demands when it comes to nursing. Funny thing is I nursed my boys toll they were 2.5yo and I don't ever remember them being as bossy and demanding.

Sorry to hijak, but I think it's so sweet that your DD Loves your boobies.

My DS calls it numma numma. He has never told me he loves them, but he has told me "good numma numma" and "nice numma numma."
