back to original size?

My 19 month old is no longer breastfeeding (so sad) as of two days ago. I am wondering when these size C breasts will go back to the original nearly A breasts that they were originally. How long did it take you to dry up? Any input is appreciated. Thanks mamas!

I have no idea, but I will say mine have shrunk through our nursing relationship. My dd is 28 months, and still nursing a few times a day, and they're not nearly as large as even a couple of months ago.

Re: back to original size?

I don't know how much farther they will shrink. They might shrink to a B. I couldn't imagine them shrinking two whole sizes, though!
My breasts were a small A before getting pregnant. They were a B/small B while pregnant and breastfeeding for the first few months and gradually went down to an A again as my milk supply established. I'm still nursing my 18 month old and they're still an A. I can't imagine that they will shrink much--if at all--after she weans.

Re: back to original size?

Actually why I am so curious is my left breast (where he nursed 90% of the time) is a C and the right is an A. So I would love for them BOTH to be As by the end of summer when we are going on vacation. It isn't pretty to be so lopsided in a swimsuit...kwim?!

It took a month for my milk to be gone completely (of course, I was fighting it)... but my breasts never went back to their original DDs.

Re: back to original size?

LOL that wouldn't be good, but you could go to like Victoria's secret or something and buy an insert for that one side of your swim top.

Yeah...it isn't pretty! That is a good idea about the insert. I may have to do that.

Lexi...no DDs here...but I am at least hoping for a matching set!

I have pretty much the same experience of one of the pp's... I started out at a C cup, during pregnancy went to a D/DD, and throughout our nursing relationship have settled at a E cup although she is 21 months and still nursing 3-6 times a day. She loves her boobies!

When I first started BFing, I was a DD easily. Now I'm probably a C/D... but I still wear the DD bras.
