Diaper Swappers

So I've heard of EC for a while but I guess I was too lazy to try it plus I'm addicted to cloth diapers lol! Well I read the EC forum threads for the first time today and thought why not try it?!
I took off my 6 month old dd's dipe and put her on the toilet and said "psssssss" and holy moly she peed!! I could not believe it! So we went out and bought a Baby Bjorn little potty (I read about it here) came home and put her on it. I said "psssst"again and she peed again! Then I was nursing her and she farted so I quickly took off her diaper and put her on the potty and said "poo poo", then I said "psssst" and I could see her tense up and she peed again, a really huge pee. I can't believe it, i'm super impressed!!

Also, I've been praising her big time when she goes potty, thats good right??

I started EC with my dd when she was 6 months too. It is amazing, isn't it!! And I totally hear you about loving cloth diapers. That is a big reason why I started EC. I didn't want "my" cloth diapers to get all stained. So they only ever got peed on

It really is amazing! My diaper laundry is already cut in half!
Too bad that "my" diapers are already stained

Yep, my dd started herself basically at 5.5 months, after I switched to cotton/feel-wet only dipes and started changing her as soon as she peed every time - she just started holding it til dipe changes and peeing on me when I took of the dipe, so I started putting her on the potty, and it was awesome from then on out.

I also started EC with my 6 month old DD...it's going well....we've been going for about 6 weeks. We miss as much as we hit, but it's fun when we hit & one less diaper to wash...especially love when she poos...she says..plllbbb... so funny! AND my family is so impressed...haha
