Re: What should I do at nap time??

Definitely let the little one sleep in the swing. If that's what it takes and if that's what works, go for it. My little one hates his swing (after I paid so much money for it) and I just put him in it once in a while to see if he might start liking it (not as of yet ). I have a thread on napping going right now and have received some great advice. Swaddling seems to be the thing that works with mine. I used to swaddle him only at night, but this afternoon, I swaddled him during the day and he slept for 2 hours! Well, it's a start.

Also, a good friend of mine has a 5 month old and lets him sleep in his swing for all his naps - I don't see why you shouldn't.

Re: What should I do at nap time??

My DD loved out papasan swing as well and that is always where she napped until about 6 months. With DS2 he didn't like the swing so most often he slept on me in some type of carrier. Just go with whatever is right for you and your LO mama!
