Ugggg, Any advice!

Advise on what exactly ?? How to get them on the potty, trainers, ??

Well, I tried to go right to big girl trainers hanna andersson trainers which is basically just big girl underwear. Read the book to her about potty's for a while, kept putting her on the potty. She never peed on the potty she just peed everywhere else. She tells me when she goes poopy or pee pee but after the fact.

Any advice for starting out. Getting her on the potty what to say, do, how to train etc.? I am at the beginning so any advice will help!

How old is she ?

We started PLing DD right after her first bday and she caught on rather quick.
We took her to BRU and tried out the Bjorn Big potty and she hated it (still doesnt like it) so we got the Summer Infant Rewards potty ( http://www.toysrus.com/product/index...ductId=2970278 )
At first I started out with just fitteds that I could get off easily and took her every 10min until I learned how often she went and watched her and learned what faces she made and how she acted while she was going.

When I would sit her on the potty I would say "PSSSSS", or run the sink faucet or I would just sit on the big potty and pee while she sat on her potty and she would pee. When she would pee pee I would clap and say Good Job and tell her tahnk you for going pee pee in the potty.

I made a sticker chart and went to Target and bought a huge book of stickers and every time she went pee pee she got to pick out a sticker and put it on the chart. She really liked the chart and still does.

After she got the hang of it I started using Gerber undies and we took her to BRU and Target and let her pick out some big girl panties and she loved that.

SHe still has her moments when she doesnt want to sit on the potty so I sit her on the big potty and sometimes she goes and sometimes not. She still has her accidents but we catch most of them. For a while she would say Pee Pee and Potty when she had to go but when we went out of state to visit family she went through a month long potty pause. We just started back up about a week ago after we returned home.

Now she is in trainers more so than panties. We ended up getting her a Big Girls use the potty book that has a button that sounds like the potty flushing and she likes to sit and "read" it while she is on the potty.

Accidents will happen, just dont punish her for them. Tell her Big girls use the potty, we dont pee in our pants/panties and praise her when she sits on the potty like tell her thank you for sitting on the potty and then if/when she actually does something in it praise her a different way like stickers or soemthing.

OH and another thing that helped DD was to get some of the Kandoo or the Huggies kid wipes and let her wipe herself after she sat on the potty even if she didnt actually do anything.
