Weaning
I need to wean my dd to a bottle for medical reasons. I have 6 weeks to do it and I want to do it as gently as possible. She has had a bottle but she takes only a little from it and then binges on the breast when I get home. Any suggestions for weaning or websites that suggest how to wean? All the websites I can find just say that weaning might not be necessary but never actually tell you how to wean other than child led weaning (which I'd do if I could but I can't)
Thanks Jeni

Re: Weaning
I would just start giving her some breastmilk in the bottle...find a nipple that she really likes, and go from there...I would offer it to her during the day...and not at the times that she nurses before sleeping. let her still use you to relax for now...You will get through it, and she will learn, and definately won't starve herself!
