Re: should your baby carrier match the gender of the baby?
if i could afford a billion carriers i would love it to match me, BUT i could never justify putting my little boy in a pink or purple sling..so it would be GN or boyish.

I wear whatever I want, but I wear a lot of blue & green anyway so it does match their gender per se, but I also wear my hula girls & vintage dahlias BH all over town without a care!

Re: should your baby carrier match the gender of the baby?
I think it should match the mama but to me that means a more mature pattern ie not care bears or such, unless the mama likes that, of course. If it's a children's print, it should be gn or gender specific.
I like to find one that matches the mama's personality. Mine is jungle print with lizards. (I have a boy). Very bright but I sell them locally and want people to ask me about my sling. I wouldn't wear a pink sling with my boy. Maybe purple or yellow. Depends on the print. |

Re: should your baby carrier match the gender of the baby?
Well I don't know, I would say I probably want to match my clothes. That is why I have mostly neutral color pouches ( I mostly wear blues, tan, neurtal color clothes). But I did buy a beautiful pouch that is covered in a lacy material w/ a pink backround. I don't think I would have bought it if I were having a boy.

I think it should match or be neutral. DH would kill me if I put DS in a pink carrier!
