why is my DD not nursing well?

Everytime I nurse my DD she will nurse good for about 5 minutes and then I move my arm or something and she comes off and screams and won't latch back on. Then the only way to calm her down is to get up walk around and then she will play. We did this ALL day long. What gives (BTW Shes 6 months)

could she be teething? or, i don't know, be distracted? i don't know what else it could be. i do believe that whatever it is, it won't last long, i have found that out. sorry i don't have any brilliant advice or suggestions. i hope she is back nursing well soon.

Hmm..is your let-down fast or slow? It does sound like possibly teething. We had this problem for quite a few months and it eventually subsides.

How are things going today?

Sounds similar to one of K's teething episodes. It gets so tiring!

Around that age dd became a VERY efficient eater, and would empty a breast in 5 min. A feeding went from a long cuddle to a quick how you do. The same with my nephew. It coould be she is a stronger nurser now. Or theething of course....

Good luck.
