Re: Fasting

I couldn't find the verse, but what church do you attend? Different churches have different doctrine on subjects that aren't mentioned in the Bible. You might talk to your minister about this. I bet he/she will have more knowledgeable insight for you.

Re: Fasting

I prefer to go by the Bible than anyone's opinion. I want to talk to the Pastor, but he is on leave right now. I'll check with some other ladies in the church. I just feel like I should know this one

Re: Fasting

I think you are going to be hard pressed to find a scripture that exepmts you from fasting while you are nursing because there is no scripture that says you have to fast.

Not in the Bible, not inthe Islamic religion that is different, they require fasting so they have exemptions but not in the Bible.

SO are you wanting to fast or not?

I am confussed, if you don't want to then don't, you should only fast if God is calling you to.

If you want to then do it because all medical reasoning says it would be fine to fast while nursing if you still drink water and only do it occasionally.

And althought some of that is my opinion, you can't wait for scripture that doesn't exist. There is no where except the scripture I already posted about the Day of Atonement that God requires a fast and that day is no longer obsereved after Christ died and was the final sacrifice for sin.

What church do you go to , may I ask?
