Just popping in as I had mentioned that DH had surprised me with his Mother's Day gift (trying for #5)......so that weekend was my fertile weekend, and yes.......11 days later I got my BFP last Thursday (not this past one). So I called my doc right away as I just had an early loss in March.......so we ran a Beta and also started me on progesterone just to play it safe. Numbers were super low......but did double.....only to start dropping this past Tues.

I did stay on the progesterone until I started bleeding, which I did on Friday.....

My doc said that between all the fertility testing I had done in April (ovarian function/reserve came back great for my age (41) and progesterone levels confirmed healthy levels for ovulation), coupled with the recent bloodwork.......there is no culprit. Just probably my age, chromosomes, wrong side of the statistics.......So as it stands, I have no issues getting pregnant, just staying pregnant.

Our new plan is to automatically start progesterone at CD21........and keep our faith/prayers that we will be blessed with a new family member if it is meant to be. We are not going to do any other testing and let God keep His plan.

Just wanted to update as a few mamas were following up on my story.....

mama, I'm so sorry

I know how hard it can be to have no "reason" for it happening. I am to the point now where I am tired of tests and just want God's plan to take it's course. I hope it happens soon for your family.

So sorry Michelle. Hopefully you'll get that BFP soon. I can emphasize with you. We're battling the same thing now. I can get the pg just can't "hold onto them".
