If these had been the only diapers I had experience with I probably would have quit CDing.
Yay for not giving up and finding wonderful Diaper Swappers! That completely sucks, tho, but I am glad that you are way past it!

Re: WTH I can't believe what she put in here!

When I FIRST started cloth diapering I ordered from ebay. I mean 12 AIO's for 60 bucks AND I got to choose the closure method...that rocks. Only the mama was a HC scam artist. It took almost 3 months to receive said diapers (glad I sent her the money so she could use it for christmas money meanwhile my DS didn't get his christmas present.

When I got them they were HORRID. I mean HORRID. The aplix was sewn so close to the FOE at the top that even the aplix was gathered. They all fell apart after 1 wash AND to top it off she was a total crap head when I told her about it. Heck even now when she see's me mention it (yes she IS on ds, dt, and HC) she goes ape crap about it. She even said on DT that I got what I paid for and I should have known that 12 AIO's for 60 dollars was a crappy deal.

Re: WTH I can't believe what she put in here!

Well I am glad that I am not the only one who had trouble with bad sellers on there. I have had alot of luck on there too though. I have had some wonderfual fabric from there. However one that never gave me my Thomas Squares. Urgh! My son was upset. Oh well, sometimes you win; sometimes you lose.
I still buy from there but read every single feedback they have gotten. I am not as niaeve as before.
Thanks Ladies for your great comments. I am sorry that y'all had to go through that stinky stuff. But maybe it made us stronger in some way. Or atleast made us want to take a shower LOL. Sorry, sorry about the mailbox joke.

Re: WTH I can't believe what she put in here!

I want to add one more comment. Now I am looking at the other end of the box and feeling stupid. What if that was all she had to make it from. It was hand sewn in some parts and could tell that the elastic was hand sewn as well. I was just thinking, what if she really did make it by hand and that was all the materials that she had. Now I feel like a mean arse. Maybe she didn't know that you can't put vinyl in diapers and when she went to a fabric store and asked for PUL they sent her do the vinyl department. Seriously, I think someone might confuse it if they don't honestly know and have never seen PUL before. I had made a mistake and asking a hardward store if they had a polyurethane spray for fabric; but that was a long time ago. LOL
I just feel bad about it now. I don't have alot and very grateful for what I do have but I know there are still people out there that don't have nearly enough. KWIM?

Re: WTH I can't believe what she put in here!

I guess I have lucked out. I bought one diaper on ebay and I loved it but it was too big. She used to be a ds mama (I bought two more from her here and one was crappy when we got it but she replaced it) but she's no longer here. I won't buy from her again but the first dipe off ebay was nice.

Every transaction I've had on ds has gone well. No stinky diapers, everything as described/pictured. I've just been lucky I guess.

Re: WTH I can't believe what she put in here!

I got lucky my first eBay diaper purchase was three one size little lambs AI2's they were brand new and were really well made and fit lovely. Pity the original maker of them went out of business what a mess that was.

Re: WTH I can't believe what she put in here!

You're nicer than me. If I were you I would be going after her for my money back, for misrepresenting her product and it also falling apart! I mean VINYL??? Does that not have chemicals in it? And she should not be selling on Ebay if she doesn't KNOW what things are. Anyone who has ever seen a cloth diaper (can't imagine she has never seen ANY?) would know vinyl is NOT PUL. I'm sorry mama, I hope you get your money back at least!
