Re: Glass bottles

We love our Evenflo glass bottles, and they are so cheap! Our BRU carries them.

Re: Glass bottles

I've got 6 of the 4 oz. Evenflo and 2 7 oz. Dr. Browns right now. I am planning on breastfeeding. Do you all think that is enough to start out??

Re: Glass bottles

I have always used Dr. Brown's. I have not used the glass bottles yet, but plan on getting a pack to try after my daughter is born. With my first daughter, we used the regular Dr. Brown's (before BPA was pointed out as a concern) and loved them.

Re: Glass bottles

I bought some Born Free glass bottles from Babies R Us when I turned in all of my BPA bottles for credit. They seem really sturdy, although I don't have a little baby to use them with right now.

Re: Glass bottles

I prefer the Dr. Brown glass bottles over the evenflo glass ones hands down. They work so much better for getting the air out. The local babiesrus near my house has tons of them in stock. You could always place a phone order and have them mailed to you. I have also seen them at my local toysrus stores too.

I tried the evenflo ones and just hated how air would get into my sons stomach. In fact I have been trying to get rid of them on my local craigslist. I have one woman wanting to buy them but if it falls through and you want to give them a go, PM me. I have 6 x 8oz and 3 x 4oz. One of the 3pack 8oz bottles are still plastic wrapped and I have two sealed stage 2 nipples too.

I use Evenflo glass bottles and love them. I don't heat them Baby gets breastmilk right out of the fridge. Everyone thinks I'm the worst mother in the world for not heating them up but baby takes it fine.

Re: Glass bottles

I have the Dr. Brown's and have never had a problem - warm them up in a cup of warm water like Tammy stated and I buy covers for them from The Just Because Shop online here from Canada (WAHM), they are cute! I just don't like that if you forget to put the cap inside the nipple then it leaks with the slightest tilt, all over your diaper bag. I prefer my Born Free glass bottles, especially with how adaptable they are with Avent nipples and then up to sippee nipples - they also make a great BPA-free plastic bottle too! Good luck! Leslie

Re: Glass bottles

I have a question for all of you Dr. Brown's users - how do you get the tube thing clean? I have avoided them for that reason. I hate things that I can't get inside to clean (like sippy cup valves and certain water bottle lids - yuck). So how do you clean them? We currently use Evenflo glass bottles, Momo glass bottles, and Weego glass bottles, but i would love to have something to keep the air out of DS's tummy.
