My new favorite budget diaper!

Just have to share!

http://www.cloth-diapers-made-easy.com/the-no-sew-tshirt-diaper.html

I was using flats trifolded, but DS couldn't seem to stop pooing off the diaper and into the cover. So then I was snappi-ing or pinning with the Maria fold, but couldn't get enough absorbency and the LL were getting too small. I WAS going to get bigger flats from GMD when I found this! I LOVE IT! It's like a fitted and is nice and trim, quite absorbent (more than a flat) and so soft and stretchy enough to make DS comfy. The best part is our local recycling center has a free box so I went and found DS a whole new stash of diapers for free!!

CDing is definitely less $$ than sposies, but seriously if someone is REALLY broke, you could find t-shirts for free or even 50 cents at goodwill and have a whole stash of dipes for $20!

Re: My new favorite budget diaper!

I've been loving that lately! I have tons of soft white undershirts that don't fit DH or DS anymore. They are so stretchy and I love folding them and putting them on. Inexpensive and easy! My only complaint is that without a cover, the sleeves sort of start to slip out from under the snappi. In a cover, though, not a problem at all.

Re: My new favorite budget diaper!

so does a t-shirt dipe work good for keeping the poo in without any funny folding? Also what size Ts is everyone using? Dh and I wear xlarges so I tried out Ts a while ago but they were pretty big.

I am so excited to try this w/ my wool cover!

Re: My new favorite budget diaper!

Pierogi- so you jellyrolled the legs? Before or after you put it on? For some reason I CANNOT get Jelly rolling down! So I bet I could use a large on my chubby and a large or medium on my skinny...

Love her crazy hair!!

Re: My new favorite budget diaper!

Yeah, I jellyrolled the legs. I put it under her butt first, then roll the legs & pull the front up. I think I'd need a bigger shirt to be able to jellyroll on my 2.5yo though.

And thanks.. her hair sure is crazy
