Rebecca or Rebekah?

I'm a Rebbecca.... I have to "spell it" and all my stuff ends up wrong. Go with the most common spelling... Rebecca!

Personally, I like Rebekah better, but I think Rebecca goes better with your other LO's names. We're big fans of classic names here, too.

We discussed the R name for our daughter.

Would have spelled it Rebekah.

I don't know why everyone is assuming its weird to spell the name Rebekah, its actually very traditional. There are a few names that have acceptable other spellings

for example

Laurie vs Lori
Steven vs Stephen
Jon vs John
Sean vs Shawn
Elizabeth vs Elisabeth

I really like Rebekah, it looks more feminine to me.

I prefer Rebekah. I think it looks prettier, is more traditional, but less modern...which I like.
