Re: So soon.....
How old is he? I don't have any real advice, other than to keep offering. If he's old enough, would you be willing to pump and give it to him in a cup/sippy? Good luck mama.

Re: So soon.....
keep offering Tracy.....Tyler went through a phase for 3 days where he refused me now he's back on.....make sure to pump though to keep up supply. Tyler was about 6-7 months when that happened.

Re: So soon.....
Need to know how old he is!
What is his favorite way/time/place to nurse? My DD likes to lay down on the bed (anytime of day) and nurse, she'll nurse twice as long there than anywhere else. Maybe some cuddly time will help persuade him. Not knowing his age i'd guess that he is not trying to wean so much as he is distracted and wants to play. A few months ago... i think between 7-10 months somewhere... lizzy would NEVER ask to nurse and when she did nurse it would be for 2-3 minutes and then she would scramble down off my knee to go play again. So it's probably a developmental stage. Maybe decrease solids?

Re: So soon.....
DD went through a nursing strike for 5 days at 10 months. If I hadn't kept offering the boob to her, she probably would have weaned. We went on to continuing to nurse until 18 months.
