Please tell me that it's completely normal for an 11 month old who is just learning to walk to constantly be getting bumps and bruises on his forehead.
I feel so bad, but I can't catch him every time he falls down and I don't want to stop him from trying to walk since he enjoys it so much. It just makes me so sad when he hurts himself and I'm sure that people must think that I beat him when his forehead has bruises on it.

Re: Bumps and bruises
Totally normal and anyone who has had normal active kids is going to know that. They won't think you beat him!!

Re: Bumps and bruises
It's perfectly normal, and it's only going to get worse as he gets older and starts exploring more, and becoming more independent. DD is 2.5, and she looks like a walking bruise most of the time. So much climbing, tripping, etc., and she is completely fearless.
