our new stash storage for two! so wonderfully simple!

ok so i was trying to figure out how to organize eli's closet today now that i am starting to work on the room and i kept thinking "well where am i going to put the shared diapers?" so after going back and forth it finally hit me...the empty closet in between the rooms! so i sat out on a mission getting all clean diapers onto the shelves.

we are missing some stuff in the pics: a lot of mutts (NB, 3SR, and babyshapes)...still waiting for our custom, some PB&Es from a friend for the boys to share, some more prefolds for eli, and of course, everything that is being washed right now. and all the wool is being stored in the boys' drawers.

the first two shelves are evan's, then the shared diapers on a shelf, then eli's shelf, and then all the accessories.

best shot i could get of the whole thing:

evan's shelves and the shared shelf
1st- the first row is premium prefolds (missing some) and then the rest are all GMD rainbow shorts)
2nd- various fitteds/pockets (some in the pail) and sbish flats
3rd- the shared diapers...mutt 3srs and M babyshapes (waiting on more of these) and BV prefolds that i can stretch and fold down to fit both:

bottom shelves:
1st- shared shelf again
2nd- eli's stuff...NB mutts (waiting on more), NB BBH (ooga booga print), and a PWP diaper..also his GMD prefolds (waiting on more)
3rd- wipes, doublers, and babylegs

there is about a two foot space below the last shelf where i am going to store the FSOT/don't fit basket and the daily diapers basket which i fill up daily with every thing we need that day..diapers, wool, and wipes.

this is what my day consisted of...the rest of the house looks like h*ll...but the closet is perfect.

Typical of a diaper mama. The diapers look amazing, neat, oraganized, no stains, but who cares what the rest of house looks like.

Just kidding.

Looking good!

My house is like that too. All the cds are perfectly put away and the rest of the house needs some help.

I think my ds' diaper storage area is the only thing that is truly systematized and organized in the house. Not saying that that house is a disaster, but just not quite to the same level as the dipes.
