Diaper Swappers

I washed dipes last night and every.single.piece that DD had pooped on was stained! So I sunned them this morning and now they are all pretty again

Here are the before & after pics for anyone that doesn't yet know the power of the sun.

Aww yes, a fellow Minnesotan who can understand my plight of no sun. I'm loosing my mind over here.

Can't wait for sun again because I need to get rid of stains.

Isn't it awesome!?

I always am a little in awe when I see the finished result. My little one has a real habit of "staining" my favorite diapers with his EBF poop, but the sun takes it right out! I even have success with "sunning" when its cloudy out. But, I did forget I had diapers out on the drying rack yesterday and they got completely soaked in the rain. Oops.

Lately it seems like we've been split evenly between nice and sunny, or pouring rain.

I just told DH today that I am in total bliss hanging dipes in the sun! The results are fantastic. Today I am sunning 2 of DS's shirts and a skirt of mine. I cannot believe the results. I used lemon water for the first time today for some stubborn food stains, worked like a charm!

I've had luck sunning diapers without any actual sun.

I just put them out on a day with clouds but still kinda' bright (not fully) and it worked. Took longer than direct sun but worth a try!

howdy! another devotee of the sun's stain removing power. have bought some dipes here frankly described as stained. so glad i took the chance; all gone! seems to work best for me on cotton, what's your experience with hemp, bamboo, pul?
