Question help please pumping for nights?

Looks like I am going to have to go back to work midnights...please tell me how to pump enough to leave for baby overnight...would I start pumping extra before i start working again, so my supply is MORE plentiful? I have a double electric breast pump Ive never actually used...I breast fed but never pumped milk for previous babies...Im just wondering how it works, and how long milk stays good refridgerated.....Thanks
Also which bottle is best? DD is almost 4 weeks old, but never used a bottle yet. Thanks again

Re: help please pumping for nights?

Hi--I would start pumping now to build up a small freezer stash so there's not so much pressure when you start pumping while working. As for storage times, I think-but don't quote me-you can store 5 days in the fridge, 4-6 months in the freezer. I just make sure I rotate out my frozen milk so none of it gets lost in there!
I ended up just using Medela bottles. #1 because they fit directly on to my pump and #2 because they're BPA free. I'm not sure what kind of pump you have but for me the convenience of not switching out bottles has helped a lot.
Good luck and blessings!
