Nursing pad question

I'm a bridesmaid in my brother's wedding the middle of July. I'm breast feeding my newest son and am kinda a super soaker if I don't feed/pump every two hours. I don't think I'll be able to do that the day of the wedding, so I'm in search of the "perfect" breast pad to help me out. I thought about Lily Padz, but I don't really know a whole lot about them. Any recomendations?

I'd think the wool-backed ones would do pretty well. LilyPadz get mixed reviews, since they completely block the milk from coming out at all (as far as I have read). I'm too cheap to get the nice ones and I used disposables for the first couple of months, but next time I'm getting wool-backed ones so I don't leak through to my shirt anymore

Lansinoh Disposables! I know a lot of mamas on here prefer natural, but those are about the only ones that keep me from leaking all over the place!

I LOVED Avent disposables. I tried cotton ones for awhile, but I soaked through them everytime. I never soaked through an AVENT.

I was wondering about these. I have a couple of samples that I've been saving. I've heard they hold a lot. I'll also need them to not show through my dress. The absorbant ones I have show through.

Re: Nursing pad question

check out my website mama's i make really great nursing pads at a really cheap price. I have a size chart that should help to eliminate the "circle over the boob" look. It's best to go with pads that are a little bigger than you would normally buy cause they will blend into the outside of your bra.

thanks for looking!!

The Lansinoh Disposables worked great for me and the avent cotton ones did as well.

Re: Nursing pad question

I ADORED my lansinoh disposables. It seems weird, but while I am all for the cloth for my kiddos; I could never find any cloth nursing pads that worked for me. I loved that I could put thos in, with an unlined bra and clingy shirt; but there was still no tell-tale "ring around the boob". They are nice and big; and hold sooooooooo much. I too was a super soaker, and was just able to stop wearing nursing pads 24/7 when my youngest was 16 months old! I had lots of time to try the different things. LOL
