Yup, but poor DH does her bath alone now and he has to read the Sesame Street big small book and it makes him crazy. LOL. I can hear him in the other rooma nd I recite alone with him.

The Going to Bed Book in my post is a Sandra Boynton. We have a couple of hers--dd1 just fell asleep for naptime with her ABC book

We have a big Elmo book with lift-a-flap stuff on every page, with ABCs and numbers and shapes, etc, and when we let that one come out we have to read it allllll the time. And then we hide it

Our LOs are about the same age. Right now, she's all about the Brown Bear Brown Bear books-----you know, Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What do you see? I see a yellow duck looking at me. etc..
They also have a Baby Bear one (she LOVES this one) and a Polar Bear one. We haven't got to the Panda Bear one yet. She has the others memorized already and will read them to herself or just go around the house chanting the words.
Otherwise, we do a lot of Elmo books, and one called Stinky Bear that's really cute.

Same here, and pretty much anything written by Eric Carle is great for kids (plus I love all the pictures).

Dd1 does this too, with her "Mama, Do You Love Me?" book.

"Mama, do you love me? Yes I do dear one. How much?" etc It's funny--she's MUCH better at reciting her books than at actually talking
