weve done 3 uti checks all neg. went to ped today since dd was at 104.6. thursday we are going to have a CT of brain/sinus then next tuesday a sonogram of her belly.... they want to check ehr belly for a cyst maybe thats harboring the sickness. shes had bad direaha too.... but i think that might be from me sticking the evil thermometer up there every few hours/ good thing i got an ear one today....poor thing!

Oh, I'm so sorry.
When one of my twins was 8 weeks old, he started running a fever of 103-105. Afer the first night, I called the ped and she said "Keep alternating Tylenol and Motrin". I did this for the whole next 24 hrs. While it did somtimes bring the fever down a little, it never broke. I finally took him to the ER. They did a bunch of tests and even tried a spinal tap (poked him three times in his little body). Eventually they isolated him in NICU, ran IV's and pumped him with antibitics to knock out whatever type of infection was in there. They told me he had a blood infection but not much more than that and kept him for 3 days. That was the first and only time it happened. Good luck and God Bless!!
