Makes me want to try this again. My problem is never getting the legs the same..but this way should work. I'd tried sewing the elastic on instead of a casing.

Nice job mama! Thanks for this tutorial!
may I suggest one thing - if you start sewing on the other wing than the one you started on in the picture then you won't have to stop and break your thread to leave a back opening because you'll be starting on one side of the opening and ending on the other - make sense?

duh... that totally makes sense!! thanks for that!
and tinab: as you can see from my sewing, my sewing isn't perfect either, LOL! I figure if it fits the baby and does what it's designed to do, then nobody but me will notice it's not totally perfect
