EUREKA! Finally got rid of her rash!

I swear I was about to scream. This is what went down with the rash.

8 weeks ago I switched from Charlie's to Bac-Out and Biokleen only.

Sometime between 4 and 8 weeks ago India got a rash.

3 weeks ago we went to the doctor (but saw an NP, not our regular ped) about it. He said it looked like a contact rash and to try diaper cream.

We tried desitin, triple paste, lansinoh, and breastmilk.

An e-mail from my doctor resulted in a suggestion that we use Lotrimin on her. It seemed to clear it up for a day, but then it came back and didn't go away again.

We went BACK to the doctor on Monday. She said it looked like a contact rash (sound familiar) and to just put some Hydrocortizone on it.

24 hours later... and 48 after that.. we're still rash free.

I want to HURT my husband who has eczema and didn't clue into 'contact rash' $50 in creams and doctor's appointments ago...

Our older daughter had crusty spots as a baby--like on her ankles and wrists, but she out grew them. India never had any of that, and she's the spitting image of me--so I just kind of assumed that she didn't get ANY genes from him!

So glad it got figured out, mama! We're dealing with a weird rash here that seems to not want to go away, so I feel your pain!
