Re: Superbaby food cook book

I LOVE IT!!!

My son is almost 7months old and has been on solids for about a month. The only problem i have had with it is that there was no recipe for applesauce, but wholesomebabyfood.com did, and he liked it Overall i highly reccomend it. It does have toddler recipes, as well as green solutions for around the house. Like cleaning and such...
I love how she seperates the chapters into both by food, and by age so you can go by either

I have it too!! It's really detailed and incredibly informative. I'm a bit simpler usually, but will definitely find a use for it as time goes on. And, yes, toddler recipes---upto age 3.

I have to say, I was not at all inpressed by the book. She's a vegitarian, which no one mentioned - so theres no directions on how to start meats, in fact she plaining states you shouldnt ever.

Otherwise, I think most of the stuff was elementary. I knew how to do almost all of it by the time I had purchased the book when my first was 9 1/2 months old. I thought I would be looking for new foods for her, new ideas... but didnt find much at all.

I think its a good book for those who have never even attempted baby food, but really - cook your food, then blend it.

Oh ya, and I will say, for TODDLER foods - I love the books "Sneaky Chef"... google it. Those are some fabulous ways to get some real nutrients in "normal: foods! Go to her website and theres some tester recipes too!

I have it and love it - use it all the time. I do, however, find it to be so chock full of information that it gets confusing! I also have Annabel Karmel's Baby First Purees cookbook (or something like that).
