OFFICIAL "I CAN'T STAY LOGGED IN" POST...NEW SOLUTION POST #80 ON PAGE 2

i've done all this....i can't even stay logged in for a few seconds lol. i log in, it tells me thank you and then i'm no longer logged in.

i've done everything suggested and still can't get in. help me lol.

Did you just post the same time as me? Did you try that last solution I just posted?

Give that a try. If it didn't work, give it another try and be sure to follow steps exactly in order.

If you can't stay logged in long enough to even change your forum skin in your profile, let me know.

the unregistered user was me...yup i posted the same time as you did lol...it worked for me though! thanks! and nope i couldn't stay in long enough to change my forum skin or anything...it literally would tell me thank you for logging in and then i was no longer logged in lol. this worked though!!!! thanks mamajo!

Ooh, so it worked without changing the skin? thats good You're welcome. I'm just glad people can finally start logging in! Its been hard to troubleshoot since its not happening to me

I still can't stay logged in. Its weird though I'll come on DS and be logged in and ill be looking at a topic but then I'll go to go do something with dd real quick or something and come back and im still on ds the same page I was reading before and I click index to go to anothet opic or page and then im logged out and it asks me to log back in but sometimes if I click completely out of ds then go back to it i'm logged in again. Its really weird. I hope that made sense

makes perfect sense... because it happens to me too I'm going to try the stuff Jo suggested above and will be back to post if I still can't stay logged in...

ETA: I just did everything above. I have Firefox and I did the clear Private Data twice. I've also logged in and opened a new browser, etc... we'll see tomorrow when I come back to see if it *really* remembered me.

I've got a stupid suggestion... but seeing how I've done everything on this thread to try to remain logged in and it hasn't happened yet, I checked out the tools option on my firefox tool bar. Under options, I went into privacy, then passwords and had to click on the box for "remember passwords."

We'll see if this works. I am getting frustrated with having to sign in all the time. Even if I'm reading a thread, if it takes me longer than three minutes, I get timed out.

I'll keep you posted to whether this works or not.

ETA: so far so good! I haven't had to log back in once after lots of surfing back and forth between web browsers and other windows!
