Won't nurse for comfort, to sleep?

So does anyone elses dc NOT nurse for comfort/ to sleep?? I try and try to get him to nurse to sleep or to nurse him when he's fussy, but he won't have it. I guess I should be grateful, but sometimes I just want to nurse him to sleep...
He'll ONLY eat when he's hungry- this includes NO dream feeding- he just WILL NOT have it.

E was like that until about 6 months and definitely won't take it if she is pissed off and then she started taking it to go to sleep. We dropped the paci for our oldest and E had to get hers taken away as well.

Yeah, G was 3/4
No pacis here either.
He just wants to be rocked or bounced to sleep or when he's fussy/tired.

Re: Won't nurse for comfort, to sleep?

My 2 month old is the same. It is so very different than with my DD, she loved to nurse and would do it for long periods of time and we just hung out. But this one...he just eats and thats it he is done.
Maybe I should be grateful, since i don't have a ton of time to just sit planted in the chair, but I do miss that snuggly nursing time!

my lo thinks he needs to nurse 24/7 (3 months old now) and I'm hoping he goes to only wanting to nurse when he is hungry so my poor body can have a break and my poor 3 year old can have some mommy time.

Mine COULDN'T comfort nurse for over a month - my supply was so darn high!! Maybe you just have so much milk or a fast flow that he can't comfort nurse.
