DD wasn't really interested in being fed, but she wanted the food. I sit her in her chair at the same time as DS and give her what he's eating. She sucks, munches and licks everything and I sneak stuff in when she's not paying attention. I also give her her own spoon and she does her best with that. Oh, she's 10.5 ,months and still mostly bf. Let them go at their own pace

I am having the same problem. My ds is 8 months and I usually try to feed him solids 3 times a day. Sometimes he will eat an entire jar of food other times (usually) he won't eat a bite?
He always wants what we are eating but he's not really chewing so he'll just gag on chunky food.
I'm a little worried just because my ped thinks he is too small, he is in the 5th percentile for weight, although he doesn't look malnourished. He still bfs almost every 2 hours though. I just don't know how to get him to eat more solids.
