Diaper rash cream?????

One of my twins has a diaper rash, she is on a hypoallergenic formula and has loose stools, any how it is causing her to have a rash. What rash cream can I use with FB and wonderoos? I have aquaphor which is petroleum based, can I use that?

We use Burts Bees diaper rash cream and it works great and is also safe to use with CD's. I'd suggest that, but have used A&D ointment and Destin creamy on the boys with our dipes and not had an issue either

You can use anything if you put a liner or lay an insert on top of the fb. I use plain ol' olive oil and sometimes melaleuca tea tree oil if it is a particularly nasty rash.

2 things work really well, I believe the best thing in the world (and is super gentle) is lanolin breast creme like lanisoh or purlan, that will clear my dd up in 2 hours or less. More stinky but still works with cloth is A&D diaper ointment. I really prefer lanolin though.

Absolutely avoid anything w/ fish oil in it - it will permanently stain your dipes and will smell awful! We really like Bag Balm (rub it in, though, or it will stain also). IMO, the best thing to use is breast milk and a raw silk liner (we got ours from www.betterforbabies.com) and those work wonders! Good luck!

Thanks for the replies - I used blamex and aquaphor yesterday and it seemed to work well!

We use dixie bum butter...it works pretty well!!
