So, i bought 5 dipes from a WAHM on here. She also has a hyenacart and has good feeback so i wasnt worried. I paid right away (may 24?) I hadnt heard anything for awhile but on june 5th she said she would be shipping them priority the next day. And that she would send me the DC# and i should get it on Monday or Tuesday. I didnt get a pm. She was on ds. I pm'd her a few times and she was reading them but not responding. Finally on the 12th(the thursday after she said i would get them on mon or tues) she responded to a pm with the dc # saying they were delivered.
I get them and they look okay so i put them in the wash. All 4 look like seconds. They have random pieces of fabric stitched together. 2 of the inners have the fabric cut and stitched together. One of which is coming apart after one wash. This one also is coming out of the FOE. The 3rd dipe is coming out of the FOE also AND it is pieced together on the outer right at the front where the snaps are! And she put that fabric going a diff direction.
There are other issues but these are the worst ones.
When i asked her about this she offers for me to send them back and have her fix them. I tell her i would like a refund or new dipe on the 2 that are really messed up. She says no refunds and no returns and DENIES that the inners are patched together. She also says she ran out of fabric so she just pieced the outers together instead of pming to ask if that was okay.
She sends me a rude email about how she never has problems etc.

With how bad her comm has been and how much she doesnt care about the quality i am afraid to have her "fix" them.
I was thinking of selling them on FSOT with a huge description of the flaws in hopes that someone who makes dipes can fix them up or use them some how.

I can post pics of the flaws if that will help you see - since the descriptions of the issues are hard to word.

So I returned the dipes - she had them longer then i had them before refunding

It took her 15 days to refund.
AND she only refunded the very base price for them - not even shipping to me. I know on ds the buyer eats return shipping (even though she sent me misrepresented product) so fine whatever with that. BUT she refuses to even refund the shipping to me. With shipping to me she would have owed me 40.10. She refunded $34.00. And she says she lost out oon shipping to me anyway

When i shipped them back the shipping was only 5.30 so i am not sure where she gets that from. So i am out the 6.10 + the 5.30 so 11.40

Someone sent me a link to where she even admits she will use these for her ds as he is in larges but she turns around and tells me they are useless.

I am really disappointed. At minimum i expected her to refund the shipping to me as it seems is standard here at ds. But no dice.

She has changed her story many times due to being "mistaken" - she says she is not intentionally lying but i just cant buy that anymore.

I have been more upset with her cs then i have been with her diapers. I can't believe someone thinks it is good business practice to do this.
That $11 is worth really making a bad name. And through it all she hasnt even apologized for the diapers falling apart.

I don't know exactly what you should do since she's refusing a refund but imo she shouldn't have sent out such crappy dipes in the first place. make sure to leave appropriate feedback so everyone can know they have a chance of getting dipes like this. if they are useable I would just use em or do like you say and fsot them.

I dont think so as they are just outer fabrics anyone could have - infact i have a whammies wetbag with one of the fabrics.

This is the outer of the flame where it is coming out of the foe

Black inner where she patched together 2 pieces

Blue skulls where she patched the extra fabric in a diff direction

Blue diaper where it is coming away from the foe

This is the orange dipe where she used a small piece of fabric on the front.

I definitely wouldn't be happy with the patched fabric on ANYTHING other then a seconds product. Not pointing a finger, but you didn't notice it before you washed them?

I was so excited to finally get them (as i still hadnt gotten a pm from her) that i did a quick look over and then threw them in the wash. It wasnt till i was snapping them that i noticed. Even then, i would have been okay with just letting her know if they werent coming apart.

And i offered to keep the 2 dipes and just have a refund or redo on the dipes that are falling apart.
I had just come off of getting some really nice dipes from diaperchange on here and figured all the WAHMs were professional.

That definately warrants a full refund in my opinion. Those are FFS material not even seconds. I am so sorry mama.

Maybe you could just ask they be remade with full pieces of fabric? Not the best option, but at least they you'd have diapers that aren't pieced together. Whether it affects function or not, IMO it's just unprofessional
