What do you do with canned mandarin oranges?

I found 4 cans of mandarin orange segments on the dented/mark down shelf...a quarter each! My mom used to make Ambrosia salad with them,but I want to try something different.Any ideas?

put it in jello, with some whipped cream! makes for a tasty dessert!

I put them in cranberry jello with chopped pecans. Can also put them on top of an Asian themed green salad with nuts, chicken if you eat meat, bean sprouts and Asian dressing.

I was going to say make Ambrosia, that's the only thing we've ever used them for . Maybe try recipe.com and see what you can find?

i take the cana nd drain half of it.. stick it in a bowl and cut up a few bananas and applesmy kids love it and the acid juice from the oranges is enought o get it from going brown

Before we found out that J was allergic to citrus this is what I used to do:

2 - 4 split chicken breast
garlic
soy sauce
mandarin oranges

Combine all together and bake. Serve with rice and stir fry vegetables.

I throw them onto a mixed greens salad along with sliced strawberries, pecans, crumbled feta and a fruity vinegarette. It's good with roasted chicken or salmon on top. Yum!

mmm....this is it! I can get the peas fresh locally right now! And I think I'll add some brown rice. Could I use the syrup from the oranges to make dressing or would it be too sweet? I already planned to have DH grill some boneless pork loin chops,so this would be perfect!
