when can you give your lo peanut butter? We have no food allergies in our family, and she is bfed, and I eat it sometimes. How old are they supposed to be? BTW- she is 13 months.

I think current guidelines are two, but it's at your discretion. My 12 month old had a BIT this morning

My DS was eating PB&J sandwich bits at about 10 months. None of my LOs had ever had a reaction.

I have heard as late as 3yo from Dr.s but we dont have nut allergies and have been fine with it as early as 10mos. or so.

I fed it to my DS starting around 15 mos or so.

Most say to wait at least till 2. Some say 3. I would never ever give it before 2 though that is just asking for trouble (trust me 3 of my kids dont have a nut allergy and ds #3 he has a peanut allergy he reacted to me eating it while bfing. Oh and no one in mine or dhs family has a nut allergy) Somethings are better to wait for
