If you have an Arm's Reach Cosleeper...
is the baby's "mattress" level with your bed?
even with the leg extensions, the mattress is about 4-5 inches below our mattress. i really want it to be even b/c it is hard to reach over while laying down and pick up my 16+ lbs. 4 month old, which was the point of getting this instead of using the play-yard we had. suggestions?

Re: If you have an Arm's Reach Cosleeper...
Nope, the edge of the co-sleeper is level with our bed (using leg extensions), but the mattress is still a couple inches below. I agree that it would be better if it was flush with our mattress, but I don't think it's meant to be that way. I think it's a safety thing, but it's definitely one thing I don't like about the design.

Re: If you have an Arm's Reach Cosleeper...
For us if I remember right the mattress was level with our bed but I had to lift baby over the side bar hump. Which with large babies is no fun. Of course or bed is low by our design. Do you have a crib that you could use as a sidecar, that might be able to be adjusted higher and there is no hump to work with.

no not level but kept her from rolling all over the place when she got a little bigger and she used it until she kept crawling out.
